出國點餐不怕！記住這15個單字，看懂英文菜單沒問題

英文的煎、炸、烤、蒸怎麼說呢？到國外的餐廳想點「清蒸魚」、「烤馬鈴薯」、「燉牛肉」該怎麼說？今天VoiceTube要來教大家超實用的單字，讓你輕鬆看懂英文菜單，還加碼教大家廚房用具的英文唷！快來看看。

首先，我們以Engvid的Adam老師的影片做為開場：

各種食物烹飪方法的英文怎麼說

saute 煎

Add the carrots and celery, saute for 3 minutes. （加入紅蘿蔔和芹菜，煎三分鐘。）

simmer、stew 燉

Let the tomato soup simmer down to a rich one. （把番茄湯燉成濃湯吧。）

She sliced the onion and put it in the beef stew. （她把洋蔥切片放入燉牛肉中。）

broil 烤

指「熱從上方來」的烤，火源僅限於上方。

We’ll broil the lobster tonight. （今天晚上我們要來烤龍蝦。）

roast 烤

「熱從下方和四周來」，泛指用烤箱烤出來的東西。

We always roast lamb for Sunday lunch. （星期天的午餐我們總是吃烤羊肉。）

grill 烤

用高溫燒烤，像是BBQ一樣。grill當名詞時是「烤架」的意思。

We have grilled bacon and sausages.（我們有烤培根和烤香腸。）

bake 烘烤

像是中文的「烘焙」，烤蛋糕、烤餅乾都是用這個字。

My sister is interested in baking special-shape cake. .（我妹妹對於烤特殊造型的蛋糕很有興趣。）

fry 炒

Would you mind that we fry the squid?（你介意我們炒花枝嗎？）

deep-fry 油炸

Deep-fry for about 4 minutes, until the onion has softened.（炸大約四分鐘，直到洋蔥變軟。）

nuke 微波

It’s dangerous to nuke your box with the microwave. （用微波爐微波你的盒子很危險。）

flip 翻面

The chef suddenly flipped the fish and got some applause. （廚師突然煎將魚翻面，並且得到掌聲。）

boil （煮）滾

The water is boiling now, please turn off the stove. （水滾了，請將火關掉。）

stir 攪

If you want to make the cake smooth, you should stir the flour longer. （如果你想要讓蛋糕看起來更光滑，你要把麵粉攪拌得更久。）

chop 切絲

Chop the cucumbers and put them into the salad. （把小黃瓜切絲然後放進沙拉裡。）

dice 切塊

The chef dices the steak and divides to the customers. （廚師將牛排切塊分給客人。）

slice 切片

Slicing the bread can make it easier to eat. （將麵包切片比較好食用。）

各種料理工具的英文怎麼說

recipe 食譜

Belle collects many recipes and practices cooking diligently. （Belle蒐集了很多食譜，並且勤奮的練習煮菜。）

pot 鍋子

When you finish cooking, please hang the cooking pot. （當你煮完菜後，請把鍋子掛起來。）

pan 平底鍋

You can use the pan to saute fish. （你可以用平底鍋來煎魚。）

stove 爐子

Keep the fire and paper from stove. （讓火跟紙遠離火爐。）

oven 烤箱

The sweet-smelting is coming from the oven! （香味是從烤箱傳來的。）

kettle 水壺

kettle通常是指煮開水的水壺。

The kettle is boiling and singing.（水壺裡的水滾了，水壺響了。）

coffeemaker 咖啡機

Every morning, I make myself a cup of coffee with the coffeemaker. （每天早上，我都用咖啡機幫自己煮一杯咖啡。）

sink 水槽

Lots of plates piled in the sink.（許多盤子堆在水槽裡。）

freezer 冷凍庫

Put the pizza in the freezer, and we’ll have it tomorrow. （把披薩放進冷凍庫，我們明天再吃它。）

fridge 冷藏庫

We clean the fridge once a week. （我們一周清一次冷藏庫。）

counter 流理檯

It’s important to keep the counter clean. Don’t put the food on it. （保持流理臺清潔是很重要的，別把食物放在上面。）
