我叫瑪莎，我從俄羅斯來的、從聖彼得堡
My name is Maria. I’m from Russia, from St. Petersberg.

從小開始，我就很喜歡亞洲
I think from my childhood, I really fall in love with Asia.

所以我要去旅行
That’s why I have to travel.

本來我去過中國很喜歡，然後韓國也很喜歡
I really liked China when I was there, and then Korea as well.

然後我來台灣，我覺得（台灣）是最好的、對我最好的國家
And then I came to Taiwan, I think Taiwan is the country that treats me the best.

一、把外國人當成家人般對待

我第一次來台灣的時候
The first time I came to Taiwan.

一個朋友對我非常好，現在我叫他哥哥、台灣哥哥
A person he treated me so good. Now I call him my Taiwanese brother.

他每次都會幫忙我、現在也幫忙我
He helped me a lot, and he still does.

我覺得他照顧我好像他的妹妹、最好的朋友
The way he takes care of me, makes me feel like I’m his sister. The best friend.

二、台灣很安全

還有在這裡很安全
And Taiwan is really safe.

在這裡我可以去外面，夜裡的時候很安全、我不怕
I can go out anytime during the day. Even at night it is safe. I am not afraid.

我朋友說，如果你迷路了、如果你不知道怎麼回家
My friend says, if you get lost, if you don’t know how to get home.

你找警察
Go find a policeman.

他是你最好的朋友、他一定會幫助你
He will be your best friend, he will definitely help you.

我覺得很奇怪，在俄羅斯我一定會怕
I find it strange, I would be terrified in Russia.

三、尊敬父母

我很喜歡台灣的文化
I truly love Taiwanese culture.

比方說你們都很尊敬父母，真的非常好
You have, for example, respect to parents. It’s very good!

在俄羅斯也有，可是有的家人沒有那麼親
It’s kind of the same in Russia but some families are not that close in Russia.

我覺得跟台灣人聊天、出去玩比較舒服
I feel more comfortable to hang out with Taiwanese people.

我真的很喜歡住台灣，我希望我可以一直待下去
I love to live here, and I wish to stay here for as long as I can.
