職場 提前、延後、改期怎麼說？這些排行程英文，台灣人最容易誤用 不管是跟國外客戶約會議、安排出差，或是跨國團隊協作，「安排行程」都是商務英文裡常出現的情境。今天幫大家整理出台灣人在排行程時最常見的英文錯誤： 錯誤1：問時間時說What's your convenient time （Ｘ）What’s your convenient time?（Ｏ）When would be a good time for you?（你什麼時候方便？）（Ｏ）When are you available?（你什麼時候有空？） 外國人不太會用convenient time來問對方什麼時候方便，他們會用good time或available來問對方什麼時間合適。 錯誤2：會議改期用change the meeting （Ｘ）We need to change the meeting.（Ｏ）We need to reschedule the meeting.（我們的會議需要改期） 在正式場合，如寄工作email和會議通知，會用reschedule這個字來表達「改期」。We need to change the meeting會讓人搞不懂是要改會議內容、議程，還是改時間。 We need to reschedule the meeting to next week.（我們需要把會議改到下週。） 錯誤3：會議「提前」不是early （Ｘ）Can we make an early meeting?（Ｘ）Can we have the meeting in advance?（Ｏ）Can we move up the meeting to 10 a.m.?（我們可以把會議提前到上午10點嗎？）（Ｏ）Let’s move up the meeting if possible.（如果可以的話，我們把會議提前。） Can we make an early meeting聽起來像是要早上開會，Can we have the meeting in advance聽起來則是在某事發生前先開會，這2種用法都不對。提前會議可以用move up這個片語。 但move up也被用錯。若是要提前行程不可說Let’s move up the schedule，因為schedule是整體行程，不能直接move up，只能移動一整套行程裡的「項目」，如meeting、event、task。 錯誤4：會議「延後」不是late （Ｘ）Can we delay the meeting?（Ｘ）Can we make the meeting late?（Ｏ）Can we push back the meeting to 4 p.m.?（我們可以把會議延後到下午4點嗎？）（Ｏ）Since we have a conflict in the afternoon, I was wondering if we could push back the meeting to later this week?（行程有衝突，可否把會議延到本周稍後時間？） delay是延誤或耽擱，一般的「推遲」用delay很不自然。也沒有make the meeting late這種說法，若這樣用，外國人可能會聽不懂。 責任編輯：倪旻勤核稿編輯：陳瑋鴻 ... 2025.03.18
